McDonald's France Adopts Connected Table Service

In order to optimize table service, McDonald's France chose the Frequentiel and Impinj solution to locate customers in the restaurant so staff can deliver their meal.

In order to optimize service at the table, McDonald's France chose the Frequentiel and Impinj solution which provides geolocation capability. In this video, watch McDonald's customers place an order at an interactive terminal, take a connected RAIN RFID card and scan it to the order. The customer then goes to sit at the table of his choice. When the command is ready, the crew member visualizes the customer's location on a touchscreen thanks to Impinj xArray gateways in the false ceilings that detect the client's connected card. The crew member can then quickly serve the meal, without having to look for the customer.
